Sacrifice of Angels is based on Star Trek mythology, and takes its name from a Star Trek: Deep Space Nine story arc featuring some of the largest battle scenes in Star Trek history. It was eventually abandoned, as you’d expect for such an old game, and it has now been re-created for Sins of a Solar Empire 2. Sacrifice of Angels was a full conversion modification for Homeworld. This has resulted in a large community of people modding the game, either to try and improve it or to convert it to a different mythology.
But like many great PC games, it also can be rather easily modded.
